Introduction
As a licensed Ontario Mortgage Broker since 2004, it has been my privilege to help so many individuals, couples and families in and around the Durham Region and Toronto-GTA areas, securing multi-millions of dollars of mortgage financing for the purchase of their dreams!
As President and owner of CENTUM Mortgage Options, I feel truly blessed to have a job I love with the benefit of being able to find not just 'a mortgage' but 'the right mortgage' for you. As a local, small business owner, I always strive to offer the most personal of service, customized to your unique needs.
I completed the Financial Services Underwriting Post-Diploma program at Seneca College in Toronto, Ontario in 2004 with Honours. Recipient of the Home Loans Canada Excellence Award and the CIMBL Foundation Award.
I am a member of the Mortgage Professionals Canada (MPC) and have held the Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) designation since 2006.
In addition to being a member of the Canadian Mortgage Brokers Association - Ontario (CMBA), I earned the Certified Professional Mortgage Broker (CPMB) designation and was elected to the Board of Directors from 2009 to 2012. As a former instructor for the Independent Mortgage Brokers Association, I have enjoyed teaching the Mortgage Agent Course, which is a requirement to become licensed as a new Mortgage Agent in Ontario. I served on the Education Committee and co-authored the 2012 Mortgage Agent Re-Licensing Course, a requirement for all Ontario mortgage agents and brokers to renew their license for the 2012-2014 term.
Before becoming a licensed mortgage broker, I previously worked for major Canadian financial institutions in both the personal lending, independent business and commercial lending areas.
With the ever-changing mortgage qualifying rules recently set in place by our federal government the mortgage marketplace is becoming more and more complicated to navigate and a very time-consuming task for a consumer. Having a mortgage broker on your side to explain the differences in lenders, fine print on mortgages and differing rules based on a multitude of different scenarios and narrow down the best 'Mortgage Options' for you just makes sense!
