Professional Background

After I successfully completed Real Estate College I decided to take additional courses in the industry. I am proud to have received my ASA designation (Accredited Senior Agent) in 2007.

Since almost every Real Estate transaction involves a mortgage I have decided to go back to college and do the appropriate courses to gain knowledge about the mortgage system to be able to assist all my clients with their questions about financing. I am a Registered Mortgage Consultant since 2007.


Bilingual: Fluent in both German and English.

I do take good care of first time Buyers; educate them through the entire process of buying their first home.

I dedicate a lot of my time to my children. I love taking my dog for long walks and I enjoy good company and a good bottle of wine.

Being a certified sommelier I am often asked to do small wine tasting with fiends.

I believe that children have a great advantage in the future if the learn German as a third language, and therefore I am involved with the Parent Association of the German Concordia Language school

I am Member of the German-Canadian Business Association. In addition I am the President of the Parent Association of the Concordia German School, North America largest Saturday School.

Why Do I work as a mortgage consultant in addition to being an experienced Realtor?

One of the most important steps when buying a home is being pre-approved for the home loan. Many buyers apply for the loan and receive a pre-approval from a lender before searching for a home.

Here is why Pre-approval is important:

·                              Pre-approval can cut days or even weeks off the closing because I have already conducted a credit analysis and approved you for a mortgage

·                              Pre-approval strengthens our offer and negotiation position. A home seller will often choose to accept an offer from a buyer who is pre-approved for a mortgage over one whose financial picture is still in question.

·                              Pre-approval will determine your price range and narrow your search parameters based on your down payment and your pre-approved mortgage amount, you will know how much you can afford before we even start looking for your new home.

There is also a significant difference between buyers who are merely 'pre-qualified' and those who are pre-approved:

Pre-qualified buyers are those whose lenders have determined how much they can borrow based on information the buyers has provided to the lender. Nothing has been verified to determine the buyer's true creditworthiness.

Buying a home with an eye for resale value

As you start looking for a new home, you probably aren't even considering your next move. You probably just want this one to be taken care of. But it is always prudent to shop for a new home with an eye for resale value down the road. After all, your home is one of your largest investments you have.

I will not sell you a home which I cannot resell for the same price the next day!

No one can predict what the future will bring, but here are some simple things we will look for:

After I inspected a home with you, and we proceed with an offer conditionally on Home Inspection, we will most likely already know what the Inspector has to say. I will have pointed it out to you BEFORE the offer, so we do not waste time and money.
