Professional Background
I've spent years in restaurant management where I gained many skills including understanding finance balancing, I have always been interested in crunching numbers and making them work.
I love helping people make their dreams come true.
Personal Background
I have one daughter who presently is a plumbers apprentice and a 6 year old granddaughter who lights up my world.
I have two black labs that keep me active, I didn't quite know what I was getting into when I got two but have no regrets.
I've lived in many places over the years, from coast to coast but Nova Scotia has always been home and where my heart is.
Personal Interests
I love pretty much anything that involves the outdoors and my dogs whether it be snowshoeing, walking or mowing the lawn. I love to cook and am always searching out new recipes. some work and well some not so much but I try.
Education
I have my grade 12 and I took nautical training at Holland College in Summerside, worked for the Coast Guard for a number of years. I have had many courses over the years ranging from sign language to non violent crises intervention, foster parent training to oil spill response! quite a range but love to learn. My many years in restaurant management have given me invaluable accounting skills.
Specialties
I would say my specialties are in customer service and financing, I love helping people and seeing satisfaction when things work out.
